Hi my name is Ken and I am going to talk about the 2014 KIA Sorento. We have some huge improvements from last year. We have a fully re-designed exterior of the vehicle including the front grille. What they have done is taken the fog lights and pushed them out vertically to the sides and what that does is give a much more aggressive look to the vehicle. The rear has received up and down vertical tail lights. One of the things about the tail lights is it now has a diffuser LED light which will give one long continuous taillight.

Last year there were a lot of people asking about the tail gate if it is an automatic lift gate. No it was not an automatic lift gate for 2013 but it is for 2014. It is a lot easier to open the tail gate and get your items in without fiddling around with your keys. You can also unlock the doors without taking the keys out of your pocket.

Last year the 4 cylinder was direct injected and this year the 4-cylinder and V-6 Engine are direct injected. What that means is that while it has a smaller displacement it has more horsepower and better fuel economy. Last year I think the Sorento had 275-hp, this year it has 290-hp with a smaller engine and better fuel economy.

In terms of the interior of the vehicle you have flex steering that allows you to go from normal, to sport mode to comfort mode. Normal mode would be for everyday drive; the comfort mode would be like driving a Buick or Lincoln and allows for steering with just a finger. The sport mode allows for some real responsiveness.

The suspension has also changed. It is about 18% stiffer. So it is much nicer off-road vehicle with much nicer suspension.

A lot of people were asking if the navigation came with UVO and the 2013 did not but the 2014 model will come with UVO which is a fully voice commanded navigation system.

The moon roof also has been improved by only having a thin little strip dividing the 2 sunroofs. There is a full sunshade that goes all the way to the back instead of from the middle this year.

It comes with a leather wrapped, heated steering wheel and a leather shifter. It comes with a 12-V house plug now with no converter needed.

This vehicle is fantastic and has gotten some amazing feedback. There is no competitor. Kia is really paying attention to what the customers are asking for and it shows.
