DISCOVER JESUS - John the Baptist Beheaded by King Herod (Mark 6:14-29) ESV

This video reveals the circumstances surrounding John the Baptist’s death, as recorded in Mark chapter 6. King Herod had John the Baptist thrown into prison for criticising his ongoing adultery with Herodias (the wife of Herod’s brother Philip). Herodias seized her opportunity to have John the Baptist killed when Herod promised to do anything for her daughter, for her pleasurable dancing before Herod and his guests.
