EASY Fudge Cake with Nuts || Nana's Cookery

Nana shows how to make a delicious Fudge Cake with Nuts from scratch.

Fudge Cake
Ingredients and Instructions

9 inch square baking pan
300 Deg. 45-50 min. parchment paper and Pam spray

1 cup (8 oz.) unsalted or sweet butter
4 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup flour
dash of salt
1 cup chopped TOASTED pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
10 x or confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Spray pan with Pam, line pan with parchment paper with sides high enough to lift the baked cake.Spray again.

Place butter and chocolate(which has been broken into smaller pieces) in a microwave-safe bowl.Microwave on high about a minute stirring a few times until completely melted.If you don't have a microwave do it on the stove under very low heat.
Add the sugar and stir.
Cool 10 minutes.
Add the eggs, one at a time and blend well.
Fold in flour and salt.
Add vanilla and the nuts you previously toasted.
Pour into the lined pan and bake at 300 deg. for 45-50 minuted until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in the pan on a rack for 30 min.Then holding the parchment paper, lift the contents onto a rack to cool for another 30 min.
Remove the parchment.sprinkle with 10 x sugar and cut into any size square you want.
