Drilling is an integral part of many woodworking projects. Very often, in a construction project, you have to drill small holes in plywood for screws and large holes for pipes. You want to do everything right, especially when your hole is in the middle, or else the whole sheet may go to waste.

Remember to seal the cut with acrylic sealer for protection against moisture. This becomes particularly important when using plywood in shuttering projects. An unprotected hole will let water from the cement slurry inside the sheet, resulting in swelling.
