Bangladesh former President Abdul Hamid fled country: पिछले साल छात्रों के आंदोलन की वजह से शेख हसीना की सरकार गिराए जाने और उनके देश छोड़ने के बाद से बांग्लादेश लगातार राजनीतिक अराजकता का शिकार हो रहा है. अब वहां पर पूर्व राष्ट्रपति अब्दुल हामिद चुपचाप देश छोड़कर भाग गए हैं. कथित तौर पर उन्होंने लुंगी पहनी और रात के अंधेरे में व्हीलचेयर पर बैठकर हवाई अड्डे पहुंचे. वहां से वे थाईलैंड चले गए.

Nine months after the dramatic toppling of the Sheikh Hasina government in a student-led uprising, former Bangladesh PresidentAbdul Hamid has quietly fled the country, reportedly donning a lungi and wheeled through the airport in a wheelchair in the dead of night.
According to Dhaka Post, Hamid boarded a Thai Airways flight at 3:05 am Thursday, accompanied by his wife, brother, and brother-in-law. The image of the once-powerful President leaving in a humble lungi has gone viral
