The railway is planning to start a train from Ringas to Khatushyam ji as it is the most visited religious place in Rajasthan by devotees. The Construction work will be started soon for laying about 16 kilometres of track from the railroad side. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has approved Rs 40 lakh for the construction of a new railway line up to Khatushyam ji. Railway Minister noted that special work is being done by the railways to connect cultural heritage and religious faith centres. Previously, development on a comparable new line for Ambaji in Gujarat had begun. Please inform that the Railways currently operate a train from Jaipur to Ringas. Pilgrims travel 16 kilometres by foot or by vehicle on different roads to Ringas Khatushyamji. Every year lakhs of devotees come to visit Khatu Shyam ji Shrine by various modes like rail, road and foot. Around 30,000 devotees visit every day and 4 to 5 lakh devotees come on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.10 lakh devotees come during the occasion of Ekadasi, while 30 to 40 lakh devotees come during the 15 day March fair. Khatu Shyam ji Shrine is one of the most visited Indian temples by pilgrims and devotees. Devotees coming by train first reach Ringas and thereafter reach Khatu Shyam ji Shrine by various means. In order to make the journey from Ringas to Khatu Shyam ji Shrine easier and safer the Railways has approved survey of the new rail line from Ringas to Khatu Shyam ji Shrine under the plan to connect the centres of cultural heritage and religious faith.
