Tesla has been in the forefront of the new Emerging EV market. From revolutionizing transportation with cutting edge battery technology that enabled faster, sleeker, and more affordable Electric vehicle transportation; to colossal achievements in solar and energy storage as well as one of a kind manufacturing prosses that has allowed tesla to literally produce the safest cars in the world. Tesla is by no doubt the most successful Electric Car company with one of the largest market caps in the world. Tesla's inclusion to the S&P500 has been the very first step of many from widespread recognition by traditional institutions. However, this very same institutions have had a lack of understanding of Tesla's potential as well as the entire EV sector as a whole and as a result, Index Funds such as the S&P500 have missed out on nearly 800% of yearly returns.

The SP500 and all tracking funds had to buy ATC (at the close) price, they have to have the shares before pre-market Monday. It is likely that there wasn't enough shares to buy and will carry over to Monday December 21, 2020.

Tesla's free cash flow and net income have improved over the past 12 months. They have gone from annualized free cash flow and net income of negative $4 billion one year ago to a trailing-12-month free cash flow of $2 billion and net income of $556 million.

Taking a look into Tesla's revenue history, back in 2017, we can see that after the introduction of the model 3 which was Tesla's most profitable product to date, they reached $11.759 Billion which was a 67.98% increase from 2016. And an increase of 82%.51 from 2017 with $21.46 Billion in revenue. This year, Tesla is estimated to reach $30.9 billion in revenue and projected to reach $45.5 billion in 2021. This would be an increase of over 47% year over yea and is up to par with Elon Musk's Projected growth of 50% annually.
