18th Century Frontiersman & Longhunter Clothing

Did men wear underwear during the 18th-century? Why were hats folded into triangles? This video is more than an 18th-century outfit walkthrough. Not only do I cover each piece of clothing in detail, but I also yield insights on why clothing was cut, sewn, and worn the way that it was.

One of my proudest moments was gaining the approval of the tailor at Colonial Williamsburg with this same outfit. During that interaction, I discussed the reasoning behind each piece of clothing and allowed the tailor and his staff to inspect the store-bought and handmade parts of my outfit for authenticity. That feedback was invaluable, and I have included much of it in this video.

I've been at this for about 5 years, but as with any of my videos, I appreciate your constructive criticism and welcome opportunities to get better.
