Brittany Ferries - Diverted to Cherbourg - MV Bretagne - Portsmouth to Cherbourg

Crossing from Portsmouth to Cherbourg on MV Bretagne with Brittany Ferries. As this crossing took place in late summer, any Brittany Ferries enthusiast would know that the Bretagne is at its busiest this time of year usually operating frequent daily crossings back to back between Portsmouth and St Malo which is what makes this crossing so rare as it's pretty much unheard of to see the Bretagne making a visit to Cherbourg in this season. What should have been a Portsmouth to St Malo crossing suddenly got diverted to Cherbourg just before departure due to a problem with the ramp in St Malo. Luckily this wasn't so much of an issue for us but for some reason departure time remained at 10:30 for the return trip the next day back to Portsmouth even though the arrival time in Portsmouth remained as 18:20. This meant people on the return crossing would of had to be up extra early to make the 2 hour 15 minute journey up to Cherbourg.
