Though the Galactic Starcruiser Star Wars Hotel is indeed the first of its kind there is an experience that already comes close and accomplishes the level of immersion the Walt Disney Company hopes to capture. Battle Stations 21, the 210-foot simulator used to train and give recruits of the U.S. NAVY emergency experience. Here is a slight comparison and summary of the Battle Stations 21 experience.
