How Was A Nightsister The Main Villain Of The FORGOTTEN Star Wars Film?

With the Nightsisters recently making an appearance in Ahsoka, many assume this is their first appearance in live action. However, this is not actually the case and they actually showed up in a 1980s Star Wars film you’ve probably never seen. Now the Nightsisters weren't officially created until the 1990s, with their design inspired by the Darth Maul concept art shown in this tagged video which was considered by George Lucas as too terrifying for the big screen. However, there was a witch named Charal in the forgotten Star Wars film Ewoks: The Battle for Endor whose main power was transforming into a raven. With the advent of the nightsisters, it was retconned that Charal was in fact a nightsister, meaning this is not their first live-action appearance.
