Crocodile Grabs Wildebeest | Zebras Get Lucky

As zebras and wildebeest line up to drink, one of the wildebeest jostles his way to the front of the line. Unfortunately, the wildebeest doesn't know there is a croc lurking underwater just beyond the animals lined up to drink. The newcomer is blissfully unaware of the danger that is lurking. Consequently, the crocodile grabs the wildebeest. Then the croc maneuvers the wildebeest to a side of the river with a steep embankment -- where escape is impossible.

Filmed by Brian Heath, executive director of the Mara Conservancy, a non-profit Kenyan organization responsible for managing the Mara Triangle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Brian's intimate knowledge of the Mara has allowed him to capture some of the most compelling African wildlife videos.
