शेतकरी कर्जमाफीला ब्रेक लागणार? | Farmer Loan Waiver

राज्यातील महायुती सरकारने विधानसभा निवडणुकीदरम्यान दिलेलं शेतकरी कर्जमाफीचे आश्वासन आता आणखी काही दिवस लांबणीवर पडण्याची चिन्हं आहेत. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी येत्या ३० जूनपर्यंत कर्जमाफीची अंमलबजावणी पूर्ण करण्याचे संकेत दिले होते. पण नुकत्याच जाहीर झालेल्या विधानपरिषद निवडणुकीच्या आचारसंहितेमुळे या निर्णय प्रक्रियेला ब्रेक लागला आहे. सोमवारी १८ मेपासून राज्यात विधानपरिषद निवडणुकीची आचारसंहिता लागू झाली असून, ही निवडणूक बिनविरोध न झाल्यास 25 जूनपर्यंत आचारसंहिता लागू राहील, ज्यामुळे बळीराजाची प्रतीक्षा वाढण्याची शक्यता आहे.

The implementation of the farmer loan waiver promise given by the Mahayuti government during the Assembly elections now appears likely to be delayed further. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had earlier indicated that the process would be completed by 30 June.

However, the recently imposed code of conduct for the Legislative Council elections has reportedly stalled the decision-making process. The election model code came into effect from 18 May and may remain in place until 25 June if the election is contested, further delaying policy decisions.
