The story follows Toto, a hero who possesses immense physical strength and talent but suffers from such extreme social anxiety—specifically around women—that he literally faints or passes out at the mere sight of them. Because of this "stunning" shyness, he has never been able to form an adventuring party.
Everything changes when three beautiful women—Ciel, Anemone, and Goa—suddenly invite him to join their group. While Toto is thrilled to finally start his journey, he is completely unaware of their true intentions: all three are assassins hired to kill him for their own separate reasons.
