Roses are perhaps the most popular flower for painting and for giving and growing so today, as the summer starts to think about turning to autumn, I’m painting one of our most beautiful roses, the Brother Cadfael from David Austin Roses. A delicious pink rose which struggles in our French climate but always comes up trumps somehow!
