Several loud explosions heard in the centre of Kiev on Monday
In Ukraine, multiple explosions rocked the capital, Kiev. Mayor Vitalii Klitchko says the blasts happened in the city's central Shevchenko district. It comes after months of relative calm in the Ukrainian capital. More explosions have been reported in several other cities across the country.
