Dales Divide | My First Scratch from a Bikepacking Race
Well it was bound to happen somewhen - find out why I scratched from the Dales Divide 2024.
Or should I say Fails Divide?
Scratching is essentially a 'Did Not Finish'.
A tough call for anyone to make - especially with the training, planning and costs that have gone into getting to the start line of an event.
In reflection I made the right choice and still got to enjoy a few days in Cumbria and the Lake District.
Easter falls much later in April 2025, so perhaps I'll be back to give it another shot!
