*NOTE Regarding Legacy Hotshoe Mode:
This function was cited in Godox's PDF manual, but it does not appear to be available on any X3 model quite yet. We only had the Sony model to test at the time of shooting, and we wrongly assumed that this feature was excluded from the Sony model specifically. It seems that Godox may have removed this function from the X3 at the last minute for some reason. We hope it will be re-implemented in a firmware update. If that does happen, we expect the Sony model will receive the function as well.
