I’ve had the pleasure of working with Arla Slaughter, a Louisiana native and full-time Realtor with Compass, for 9 years now, and I can confidently say—she’s one of the best in the business. With degrees in Marine Biology and Education, Arla’s background is as unique as she is. She spent years as a naturalist and director of a barrier island non-profit before returning home to Louisiana, where real estate became her passion. And trust me, saltwater still runs in her veins—I wouldn’t be surprised if she answered a client call while pulling up a crab trap!
