SpaceX Starship Aborted at Last Second | Spacex Plans to Race Remote controlled Cars on Moon in 2021
The Starship SN8 was scheduled to launch on an 8-mile-high, i.e. 12.5 kilometers on Dec 8. The launch was supposed to be carried out from SpaceX's South Texas facility, near the Gulf Coast village of Boca Chica. Though SpaceX was almost there but less than 2 seconds before the liftoff SN8 detected something abnormal with one or more of its three Raptor engines and automatically aborted the flight. So far it is not clear when the next launch will be taking place and it’s totally depends on the investigation SpaceX is coming up to find out the root cause behind the last time abort.
