A Russian drone struck a UAnimals evacuation vehicle

A Russian drone struck a UAnimals, a Ukrainian nonprofit organization that advocates for animal rights, evacuation vehicle in Donetsk Oblast on Dec. 12. Two UAnimals employees and two animals were inside the vehicle at the time of the attack. No one was killed.

The rescuers managed to exit the vehicle and carry out both dogs. One dog sustained significant injuries during the attack and requires examination at a veterinary clinic.

“This is already the second targeted attack on our evacuation vehicle. In February of this year, an enemy drone already hit our bus,” UAnimals said in a message posted to Instagram accompanying the video.
