Join me for a chilled cycling and photography session through Hull, riding my retro Raleigh Highlander mountain bike and shooting black-and-white medium format film (Rollei Retro 80s) on a vintage TLR Lubitel 166B.
The video kicks off in the darkroom as I semi-stand develop the film using Rodinal, Ilford Stop, and Fixer – a low-tech but satisfying way to make the magic happen. Then we hit the streets: from Hull’s gritty industrial edges to the scenic Marina and into the city centre, capturing moments on film and chatting about the camera, the process, and how photography acts as therapy for the mind.
