How to do the Butterfly Pose:
Start in a seated position: Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you.
Bend your knees and bring your feet together: Bring the soles of your feet together, pressing them firmly.
Grip your feet and open your knees: Hold onto your feet with your hands and allow your knees to open outwards, like butterfly wings.
Optionally, fold forward: You can gently lean forward, hinging at your hips, to deepen the stretch.
Hold and breathe: Stay in the pose for 5-10 minutes, focusing on your breath.
Release the pose: Slowly straighten your legs back out and return to the seated position.
