SpaceX SAOCOM 1A Launch & RTLS!
SpaceX's Falcon 9 puts the "Landing Site" in RTLS at the Vandenberg Air Force Base Space Launch Complex 4E.
Carrying the Argentinian Satellite SAOCOM 1A to orbit, the lighting conditions of recent sunset highlight exhaust plumes and gas thruster firings that normally can't be seen. The booster returns to the landing pad, only 460 meters (1400 feet) from the launch, just under 8 minutes after liftoff.
