Episode 16 - THE TORMENT THE REMORS THE HOPE - They are freed by Yara, a very beautiful Indian girl, who is herself a mortal enemy of Van Gould's, as he has exterminated her family. In their attempt to get out of the house surrounded by Spaniards, the Black Corsair is seriously injured, and carried back to Yara's abode, from where he and his friends desperately look for another way out. They hope that Morgan, the trusty lieutenant in command of the ship, realizes that they are in trouble, and knows to attack the town.
