The Dakota, Where John Lennon Lived and Strawberry Fields, New York City

I came to The Dakota residential building on a corner of West 72nd St. and Central Park West to give my homage to John Lennon, Rudolf Nureyev and Leonard Bernstein. They used to live there.

John Lennon and The Beatles are changed my life after I began listen to their music.

Rudolf Nureyev was one of the most famous Russian ballet dancers who started to learn ballet dancing in Ufa, Russia, my hometown.

Leonard Bernstein had a huge respect to one of the best and one of my favorite Russian composers, Dmitry Shostakovich. He recorded a lot of his concerts. Of course, including Symphony №7 aka Leningradskaya. One of the most powerful and emotional symphonies, written in a years of World War II (Great Patriotic War). It is dedicated to blockaded Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg). Score and music notes were thrown to blockaded Leningrad through the plane.

Half alive and hungry musicians, however, found a power to play it and broadcast it for a whole country through the radio. Nazis who heard that Symphony on the radio said that this is the first moment they understood they will lost the War and they lost it.

Also I have visited "Strawberry Fields", a part of Central Park dedicated to John Lennon, located right in front of The Dakota, where he lived.
