Turning The Impossible - Wood Turning

This piece of American Sycamore is the perfect opportunity for me to explain how I go about deciding how to hold a piece, how I might determine a shape and why and then progressing through the different phases of turning it to it's completion. I've always said I'm not a teacher and that will become woefully obvious as you watch. Still, I may have eeked out a few tips along the way. I hope you find this video helpful and can appreciate the nature in this beautiful wood.
