Anita Dipke, mother of Cockroach Janta Party's Founding President Abhijeet Dipke, says, "It was very bad. They shouldn't have resorted to 'lathi charge'... The children have been sitting there for a month... I haven't been able to speak to him... I saw it on my phone today that he was getting dizzy... I started crying after watching his video... He left such a life of luxury for all this... I didn't even look at my phone yesterday. His father did. He was very stressed. His father's blood pressure dropped after seeing what happened yesterday... I never thought he would lead such a big movement. He's a simple person... I feel he was better off in the US. I told him that leaving a good job there and coming here wouldn't help. But he didn't listen... It is good that he is raising his voice for the students, but the government isn't listening to him... The government shouldn't have done this. They shouldn't have gotten them beaten to the extent of them bleeding... 'Lathi-charge' is not India's future... What else can the students do but accept defeat if the government doesn't agree to their demands...".
