GoPro 2 Helmet Cam - 2012 Big 6 Grand Prix Round 3 - Hilltoppers MC

BRAKING BUMPS. :D It's hard to tell in the video except by the up-and-down movement of the frame, but this track is LOADED with braking bumps. Normally you might not think twice about that but when you're going that fast in the open sections, they wear you out (or at least they wore me out) pretty quick.

I had a pretty bad start so I didn't put that in. Kicked the bike over 6 or 7 times before finally getting it to fire with the hot start (I figure I warmed it up too much on the line). Video shows the 2nd and 3rd of a total of 4 laps.

I would like to say I learned a little about Dave Oakleaf from Hilltoppers MC and I'm appalled by his untimely passing. My heart goes out to his wife; I can't imagine the pain she's experiencing, but maybe there is some comfort in knowing there is a huge community in the desert paying tribute and remembering Dave.
