Disproportionate Number of Black Kids in Foster Care - "Another Mother's Child" - A WRAL Documentary

Children are placed into the foster care system when the Department of Social Services decides that a child is not safe in its own home due to neglect or abuse. This is likely due to the cycle of poverty in low-income areas. The WRALDoc team investigates the disproportionate number of black children in the foster care system. David Crabtree hosts. Originally aired April 11, 2007.
