Roger Blough with a salute at Blue Water Bridges
The M/V Roger Blough of the USS Great Lakes Fleet filmed at Blue Water Bridges in Port Huron Michigan. The ship is coming out of Lake Huron and downbound on the St Clair River. Anyone with the sound on will also hear my 3 year old "little helper"!
The Roger Blough was constructed in Lorain Ohio, launched on June 5th 1972. The Blough trades almost exclusively in the taconite ore due to the short unloading system. She is 858 feet long and capable of carrying 43,000 tons of ore. On this trip she is heading to Conneaut Ohio with a full load.
