Stefan Bekowsky is Cole Phelps’ best detective partner in L.A. Noire

Here’s my explanation:
Stefan had a great friendship and a sense of humor with Cole. He backed him up numerous times, especially after they left the prop store in the case “The Fallen Idol.” He didn’t interfere with Cole’s interrogations like Roy Earle did excessively. Lastly, he respects Cole and shows some class after he is told by Captain Leary that Cole is getting promoted.
