Season 7's first guest star of the season is Deborah Poole, who doesn't like to stop and start any more than absolutely necessary when longarm quilting. Deborah has developed a method to quilt patterns continuously, and aside from avoiding possible birds-nests on the back of the quilt from stopping and starting, Deborah's patterns also allow for quilting an entire block pattern or sashing pattern, whether pieced or wholecloth, continuously. Deborah demonstrates how to quilt several types of pieced blocks, sashing, and a wholecloth block continuously. In the Short Takes! on Longarm Quilting, Marie Eldredge shows examples of continuous straight-line quilting and talks about different kinds of tools which can be used to obtain straight quilting lines with ease.
