How Colonial India Made Modern Britain | Part 1
It has become very fashionable amongst some people of my generation to admire the West for its politics, law, and economy. Sometimes I feel they are not aware that their development and our underdevelopment are two sides of the same process. The very process that generates economic prosperity in the West, leads to the impoverishment of the third world. In this series, I will show how colonial India (all of South Asia) contributed to the industrialisation of Britain.
