Honda Fireblade - How to bypass Honda HISS - Garage Build EP19

Honda Fireblade CBR900RR engine swap video diary. 2004 CBR1000RR motor being shoe horned in to my CBR900RR 1996 frame.Slowly getting there as electrical systems are tested. Bit more techie this one but interesting all the same :-)

Many thanks KaldekBoch for making this vid as im not sure if I would have figured it out without it!! RR4 Blade has different hardware to whats described in the video. The process is as follows:

Pull the Pink wire out of the wiring loom from pin 30 Block A on the ECU connector (The pins come out with a screw driver) This pink wire is the old HISS feed to the ECU.

Once you’ve done that cut the wire just above the pin and solder it to the black / white wire which feeds the injection system, don’t cut the Black/white wire just join on to it. Im not sure which pin this wire is on the ECU, but should be the only black/white wire connected.

Once you’ve joined on to the black/wire wire with your pink pin then just plug it in to the empty pin slot on the ecu connector at PIN number 29 on ECU block B.

PIN number 29 on ECU block B is used for the second power feed on the US ECU.
