Exploring Antarctica by Twin Otter (on skis!)

In this video we take two flights around Antarctica on a Twin Otter outfitted with skis in place of landing gear. This is just about the most versatile aircraft you can ask for, and not only can it land nearly anywhere, it can also fly low and as it turns out, it's got amazing maneuverability too.

The result is two fantastic scenic flights over glaciers, ice waves and mountains – with a bit of excitement thrown in as we pull some fairly serious G's thanks to these ace pilots who wanted to give us a bit of fun as we flew with White Desert between Whichaway Camp and Wolf's Fang Runway.

Keep your eyes peeled for a quick peek at the Echo Camp, also run by White Desert with an aesthetic inspired by Star Wars. And stay tuned until the end for an interview with Captain Cody about the Twin Otter and what it's like to fly down here at the bottom of the world.
