Building a ROUND Deck for a NexDome Observatory!

This video walks through the building process of a round deck for my NexDome #observatory.

This deck is constructed of treated 2x6 boards mounted to eight 4x4s which have been concreted into the ground. The decking material is ground-contact treated 3/4" plywood that's screwed down to the octagonal 2x6 frame.

I also walk through the construction of a 12"-diameter concrete pier to support my telescope and mount!
