U2 - Ultraviolet (Light My Way) [360 Tour Version w/ Vox AC30]

When I saw U2 play this live in Raleigh back in '09 I thought there was no way I'd ever figure it out. Well folks, today I have proven myself completely wrong! Hahaha! Now this isn't a perfect cover but I hope you'll enjoy it. I tried best as I could to replicate The Edge's tones of the 360 Tour version using my Line 6 M13. Think I came pretty close here.

For the intro I used a Screamer / into an Octo Reverb (for the shimmer) / then into 2 Delays. All from M13.

For the verses and chorus I used a Screamer / into a Boost Comp / then into 2 Delays. All from my M13.

For that high gain fuzz part I used a Big Muff Pi Fuzz / into a Boost Comp / then into those same 2 Delays. All from M13.

This is probably the most fun U2 song to play on guitar by far for me. I had a lot of fun jamming it out. Now I do have an Explorer and I know Edge used one on the Zoo TV versions of UV but I preferred the sound of the LP and it's great sustain. AC30 also played a huge role in this cover. I wish I had one of those Fernandes guitars with the sustainer. I'd pull off WOWY if I had one.
