In his farewell speech Monday, outgoing US President Donald Trump thanked his supporters and listed his achievements, saying that he was especially proud to be the first President in decades who has started no new wars. "We restored American strength at home — and American leadership abroad. We built the greatest economy in the history of the world. We revitalised our alliances and rallied the nations of the world to stand up to China like never before," he added. Trump also spoke about the US' trade relationship with China during his tenure, and blamed Beijing for the global outbreak of Covid. He also wished the incoming Biden administration success and called on Americans to unify around their shared values.
