🤷‍♂️Context
The Guardians were hired to protect batteries belonging to The Sovereign from an inter-dimensional beast. After doing so, they are rewarded with Nebula, the sister of Gamora. They put Nebula on their ship and soon after leaving a Sovereign fleet approaches them for Rocket stealing their batteries. They get hit by one ships in the fleet, resulting in a section of their ship being ripped open. They go through a jump point to the nearest planet to escape the fleet, crash landing on the planet Berhert. After recovering from the crash, the ship that destroyed the fleet chasing them lands in front of them. A man steps out and claims to be Starlord's father. They get on his ship after he offers to bring them to where he lives, claiming he can show Starlord his true heritage. This is them on their way to his home.
