Today we are on a mission to see what life in Ajijic Mexico is like. Why are so many people from across the world flocking to this town on the north shore of Lake Chapala to live and retire? After walking around the plaza, Ajijic malecon, and the streets of the city... we're quickly starting to see why!

If you're considering becoming an expat and moving to Mexico, there's a good chance you've heard of Ajijic or Lake Chapala in the state of Jalisco. Before coming here, we thought this was just a boring retirement community in México. Now, we're thinking we couldn't have been more wrong.
