A Taste Of MONSOONS In Almora (Uttarakhand) And A Close ENCOUNTER With A Leopard

So this is the story of a monsoon day spent at a little homestay in the village of Papersalli near Almora in Uttarakhand. A lazy day plus some close shave encounters - as they say a lot can happen in the mountains :)

Considering the current situation, it makes sense to stay away from the crowds, somewhere accessible yet quiet and peaceful. So thats why leaving Nainital, Bhimtal & Almora behind, my home for a few days will be in the little known village of Papersali.

Although reaching this bnb is bit of a challenge, but if staying away from the crowd is your priority, then this is the place.

It's true that Uttarakhand is opening up for tourism, but is it safe to travel during Covid. Well we are not here to give you GYAAN on travelling amidst pandemic. But it goes without saying that if possible please avoid travelling for some more time. Still if you have to, please travel responsibly - not only for your own sake but for others as well.
