Why are Christians today are ashamed of the GOSPEL? My opinion is that they don't know the true GOSPEL. Most people know Christ because of families and friends that told them about Jesus. If you know the true Gospel, you wouldn't want to hide it from no one.
No one lights a LAMP and puts it under his bed but instead they'll put it on a lamp stand so that when people comes in the'll see the LIGHT.
Only way to get to know him is go straight to his WORD which is the Bible (aka SEED). A lot of churches are preaching the GOSPEL wrong to people and that's poisoning their minds and planting the wrong word (SEED) into people's HEART. By doing that, these people are now getting the wrong IMAGE of GOD.

So to really get to know someone you must go straight to that person and meet them yourself. God left his WORD (BIBLE=SEED) for us to get to know him. Let God Himself plant his SEED=WORD into your heart.
