Still other stars burn out in the blink of an eye, usually due to some personal misstep that costs them the esteem of their fans. In some cases, it's all a misunderstanding, but in other examples, the evidence is completely damning. We're mostly concerned with the latter category of forgotten star — folks who committed some sort of cultural taboo and rarely, if ever, worked in Hollywood again.
