At the end of this activity, participants should be able to identify significant therapeutic agents that were granted U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in the past year; describe indications, doses, adverse effects, drug interactions and pertinent patient counseling points for recently approved medications; and discuss the clinical impact and potential role in therapy of recently approved medications.
