Composed by Hans Zimmer in 2007, track #11 on the soundtrack album. It is an amalgamation of the action cues that play during the maelstrom scene, including the destruction of the HMS Endeavour (00:01 - 4:05), Jack's duel with Davy Jones (4:05 - 5:30, 9:53 - end) and Will & Elizabeth's wedding (6:03 - 8:42).

The official At World's End piano score did not included large chunks of this piece, which was disappointing as it is my favourite track on the album. So here is my complete transcription! It is not an easy piece to perform, but it is doable with a bit of creative pedalling (especially in the first section!). I have played it through to make sure it is idiomatic.

I felt that the original piece as it was heard on the album trailed away at the end, so I added a coda to liven things up a little (9:53). I used a section from the unreleased score to write it, from the track "Maelstrom Pt. 2" (listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XTOlQ7SI9s).
