We Put It Off As Long As We Could! Replacing The Lewis Brothers Cruster Screen

Our Lewis Brothers poultry cruster, or as some call it decaker, screen has been on its last leg for a while. We have patched it and pieced it back together several times. The time has finally come to fully replace it. We ordered the parts through our local John Deere. It comes with two chains and 49 pickup screens consisting of 4 different kinds of screen.

The cruster is used between flocks to go through our houses and remove the crusting/cake.
