Officers, volunteers remain at Laniakea Beach to educate visitors about respecting wildlife
Laniakea Beach has long been a focal point for locals and visitors to view wildlife. Every day, for the last decade, hundreds of people have crowded the small area to get a glimpse of sea turtles. Residents say the harassment has gotten worse over the years.
