Join legendary wildlife biologist and conservationist Larry Weishuhn—a man who’s chased deer across the globe—as he calls in over 80 mule deer using nothing but a predator call. Alongside him is Justin Trail, our quail hunting host, who leads the crew through 30 wild coveys of Bobwhite quail in just two days.

They hunted mallards, roamed the MV2 property hosted by Republic Ranches, and slept under the Texas stars in canvas tents made by Stout Tents. This wasn’t just a hunt—it was a celebration of friendship, food, and the Field & Stream way of life.

🎶 Nashville country artist and songwriter Ben Roberts capped off the trip around the fire with original songs, turning a good hunt into a great memory.
