Will NYC bounce back? The city is empty after pandemic

Covid-19 pandemic hit NYC hard. March and April were the worst in terms of number of cases and resulting casualties. Sounds of ambulances could be heard 24/7, hospitals were at near capacity, lock-downs emptied streets. Then came social unrest following the killing of George Floyd, with tens of thousands of protestors on the streets on daily basis for over two months, resulting in violent looting and clashes with NYPD. City Hall plaza in downtown Manhattan became a tent city with protestors occupying it for well over a month. Now, month 6 into the pandemic and streets continue to stay empty. Will NYC ever bounce back?
